Born in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia (Harare – Zimbabwe) a career in the B.S.A. Police of over 20 years followed.
The family consisting of a son and daughter (plus 2 cats, 2 dogs and a horse, moved to Johannesburg in 1882. Ten years were spent in the Clothing Retail Industry (Edgars Group)
A spell of eight years with a Rubber Co in Pietermaritzburg as Buyer, Importer and Exporter, then two years with my own Native Plant Nursery completes the South African picture.
In 2002, my wife Pat and I moved to Christchurch where I operated a Gardening business until a medical problem necessitated a change and I joined up with Avon Realty First National a Real Estate company.
